About tpm

tpm – taberna pro medicum - is manufacturing the world-wide best-in-class high frequency and high resolution ultrasound imaging system for the skin. Everything from one hand:  Development, manufacturing, maintenance, repair, sales and service.

The family owned business was founded in 1978 after more than 8 years of experience in sales and service of medical ultrasound equipment for ophthalmology. Since 2012 the company is managed by Sven Scharenberg in the second generation and is constantly developed further. We are also taking care about the Succession, as the third generation is already integrated in the company.

tpm never stopped further developments, so that we have a broad spectrum of knowledge in the high frequency ultrasound field. tpm is regularly consulted to be part in German or European funded development projects in this field.

In 1998 we established the quality management system ISO 9001 for the entire company. The quality management system has been converted to the new standard for medical devices, DIN EN ISO 13485:2016.
